Like the story goes, what’s old is new again. For those of us who have been through the good
times and bad, we know well that change always include revisiting the past. Look no further
than our downtown where, as a city, it all started. London was born on the streets of our core
and will be reborn with the breath of new residential that will add much needed diversity over the next decade. Embracing true London history while welcoming new opportunity will
continue to be a recipe for success in the heart of our city.

That said, merchants will be ready for patrons with experiences like have never been seen.
Richmond Row is poising itself to be the forefront destination in that revitalization.
Historically, the Row has always been the major north south corridor of commerce in the City
of London.
That has never changed, but we all agree that it has seen the changes and challenges that
go along with being in the centric part of the city.
Still, through a pandemic and social unrest that crippled so many cores, Richmond Row has
continued to be that vibrant stretch in our downtown. New mom and pops are continually
opening along the row, while those steeped in tradition anchor the iconic stretch of roadway.
This commentary over the next months will focus in on the who, the what and the why that
make up our most eclectic shopping district. Make no mistake, the Row has something for
everyone. Service, fashion, hospitality and experience line a stretch that is unparalleled. It
houses that unique one-of-a-kind gift to some of the best dining in the city of London.
Richmond Row is a part of our downtown family that continues to deliver. Come down, walk
the Row, and experience all that our core has to offer. London’s oldest shopping district
reborn, revitalized and ready for you.
Until next time, enjoy all that is downtown . . . here on Richmond Row.
